Families for Education and Opportunity PAC
Our mission is to strategically support local candidates and policies that champion equitable, high-quality public education in San Antonio by mobilizing resources and amplifying the voices of families, educators, and community leaders.
Our vision is a San Antonio where every child thrives in an equitable, high-quality education system shaped by the active partnership of families, educators, and community leaders—where all students reach their fullest potential and drive our city’s collective success.
Our Political Action Committee supports candidates and policies that focus on redistributing power and resources to underserved communities, ensuring that education, health, and economic opportunities are not determined by identity, income, or neighborhood. We reject systemic biases and amplify the voices of marginalized communities, advocating for policies that promote racial and social equity.
We back leaders and policies that embrace bold, innovative reforms to fundamentally redesign systems that perpetuate inequitable outcomes. Our PAC supports those willing to challenge the status quo, push for transformative solutions, and address the root causes of disparities in education and other sectors.
We endorse candidates and policies that rely on rigorous research and data to inform decisions. Our advocacy is grounded in evidence-based practices, ensuring that the policies we support improve educational outcomes for all students in San Antonio. We continuously seek data-driven insights to guide our policy recommendations and track their effectiveness.
Our PAC fosters partnerships across traditional school districts, local government, public charter schools, and community organizations to build a unified, effective ecosystem of education. We support candidates and policies that value collaboration, maximizing resources and expertise to ensure all students receive a quality education.
We advocate for policies and candidates that prioritize family agency, recognizing that families are key decision-makers in their children’s education. We believe elected officials must be deeply connected to their communities, especially those most marginalized. By building strong, first-hand relationships with families, we ensure that the voices and needs of underserved communities are at the center of our policy efforts.
